Bmw e36 316i fussraum nass wird warm

BMW 316i 1996 E36 overheating -

Three weeks ago I bought a i automatic with A/C. All was well until it started running rough last week. I changed the plugs which cured the problem but it then overheated after travelling about 4 miles from cold. It hadn't overheated before.
